To ensure the safety of the public, it is the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners' (Board) responsibility to investigate any appropriate complaint against an individual over whom the Board has jurisdiction. The Board's jurisdiction is limited to licensed Psychologists, an individual who is provisionally licensed or registered with the Board, an applicant for licensure or registration, or an individual engaged in the Practice of Psychology without a license. The Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners does not have jurisdiction over complaints against behavioral health or medical practitioners that are licensed by other Boards.
Before filing a complaint with the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners, please confirm that the individual is licensed or registered by, or is an applicant with, this Board (which can be done on our website here), or that the individual against whom a complaint is filed is engaged in the unlicensed practice of Psychology (as that term is defined by NRS 641.025).
